Ken Goe of the Oregonian features how senior middle distance runner Anne Kesselring has stepped up as a team leader for the women’s track and field team this season.

After Jordan Hasay’s disappointing finish in the 10,000 meters at the NCAA West Regional, Hasay credited Kesselring for helping her focus in the 5,000 meters, where Hasay qualified.

Kesselring will be competing in the 1,500 meters for Oregon in the NCAA track and field championships starting at Hayward Field today. The Ducks are looking for their first outdoor title since 1985 and to earn the first ever triple crown.
