Zone Read PM: OSU in position to win Super Regionals, Tebow to the Patriots

After grabbing a crucial game two victory in the Super Regionals against Kansas State, Oregon State will have the opportunity to close out the series with a win Monday night. Junior Ben Wetzler is expected to start for the Beavers tonight as he attempts to keep his winning streak alive having not having lost a game since March 30. With a win, the Beavers will once again be College World Series bound.

With the 2013 football season approaching, it is a good time to reflect on how well the Ducks did in the final year of the Chip Kelly era. The Ducks had a magical season this past year, and it is an exciting time has Oregon head coach Mark Helfrich begins a new chapter in Oregon football. But before that chapter begins, let’s reflect back on the success the Ducks had last season.

Tim Tebow will be taking his talents to New England this next season. Despite being let go by the Jets this past season, he has quickly found a new home with the Patriots. Of course, there won’t be much of a question as to who the starting the quarterback will be (Tom Brady), but for now, it will stand as an interesting story. Tebow is expected to participate in the team’s mandatory mini-camp Tuesday as a quarterback.
