What are two things girls love? Shopping and Instagram. Last weekend, I conquered both of these right here in Sydney.

Paddy’s Market, also known as a bargain hunter’s heaven, can be found right next to Darling Harbour. Paddy’s is an indoor flea market filled with everything from clothes to electronics to souvenirs, and even onesies! Paddy’s is enormous! I could have spent many hours just walking around all of the stands. We spent about an hour walking through the market. I found some souvenirs for myself and gifts for my friends and family. The day was a success!

The next day, my roommate and I spent the afternoon enjoying the coastal walk from Coogee Beach to Bondi Beach. Each year, the city arranges for artists to display their artwork along this walk. It was nice to enjoy the art with the sound of the waves crashing in the background.  The pieces were very unique and beautiful, and they made for some great Instagram pictures.

This small festival was just another reminder that you don’t have to look outside Sydney to have a great adventure. There are so many art and culture events happening just a few miles away, which makes it possible to enjoy a different venue every weekend!
