Oregon’s Maggie Schmaedick finished 12th overall in the women’s 5000 meters at the 2014 IAAF World Junior Championships with a time of 16:19.01. Despite placing out of the top 10, Schmaedick was still excited about her final experience at the junior level. She will begin running cross country for the Ducks in five weeks time.
