Oregon’s Christian Brennan advanced to the women’s 400 meter final with a 53.81 time at the IAAF World Junior Championships at Historic Hayward Field. Brennan, who wasn’t assuming she would make the finals, was relieved and out of breath as she recapped her semi-final race.
