We applaud the Minneapolis City Council’s work to help push integration of gender-neutral, single-user bathrooms.

With a resolution passed that allows local restaurants and bars the choice of including alternative bathrooms for transgender patrons and employees, we feel that this is a tremendous step forward.

The University of Minnesota now has at least 52 gender-neutral bathrooms, which we hope will set a precedent for other campuses in the state.
