– After traveling to Seattle, Washington for the Pac-12 tournament, the Oregon women’s basketball season came to an end with a 66-64 lost to Washington State. The Ducks entered the tournament as the No. 10 seed and gave No. 7 Washington State all it could handle. Oregon led by as many as nine points in the first half, but turnovers allowed the Cougars to stay in the game. The Ducks rallied from down eight points to have a chance to win it at the end. Lexi Peterson caught a pass from Drea Toler and banked in a three-pointer. But, the buzzer sounded before the ball left her hands, resulting in the Washington State win.

– Exactly one week after losing to No. 1 Florida 3-0, the No. 2 Ducks will get a shot at redemption when both teams meet on Friday at 3 p.m. in Fullerton, Calif. According to head coach Mike White, Oregon pitcher Cheridan Hawkins pitched a great game but defensive miscues and the inability to hit led to the defeat. Oregon enters the game with a 16-2 record. Both losses have come against the No. 1 Gators and No. 9 Baylor.

– The Oregon baseball team opens up a five-game home stand tonight with the first of three games against St. John’s. Oregon enters the game with a 10-2 record while being a perfect 5-0 at home. Likewise, St. John’s is 5-4 on the season while being 2-1 against top-25 teams.

– Starting today, the Oregon men’s golf team will begin play in the Desert Mountain Intercollegiate in Scottsdale, Arizona. The Ducks will look to rebound from a rough showings a few weeks ago in The Prestige and the Cowboy Desert.
