At the Cage Rage on Saturday, students piled in front of TDECU Stadium to gain one of 5,000 ticket vouchers. Only 1,000 of them were lower level seating, and as students raced to get one, tensions arose.

The first students arrived at TDECU Stadium before 8 a.m., and hours later they were still there, waiting for their ticket vouchers to the OU game. | Thomas Dwyer/The Cougar

Because of the heat, many students brought umbrellas or tents. All of these had to be abandoned when they entered TDECU Stadium because of the stadiums rules on what can enter.  | Thomas Dwyer/The Cougar
In the morning, head coach Tom Herman promised pizza via Twitter. Later in the day, Pink's Pizza was delivered, but not everyone received a slice. | Thomas Dwyer/The Cougar

Louis Rauda, at the front of the line, woke up at 4 a.m. to get to school by 6:30 a.m.
