Oregon men’s basketball will start the season ranked No. 14 in the preseason AP Top-25 Poll.
The Ducks are the highest ranked Pac-12 team. UCLA comes in at No. 21 while Washington appears at No. 25. Arizona, USC and Arizona State also received votes.
The Ducks return key contributors in junior point guard Payton Pritchard, senior forward Paul White and sophomore forward Kenny Wooten. But the main attraction this season is the freshman class. Oregon grabbed the No. 3 class in the country, according to 247sports.com, featuring two five stars: center Bol Bol and forward Louis King.
Oregon opens with an exhibition against Western Oregon on Nov. 1, at 7 p.m at Matt Knight Arena.
